An amateur football team from Dublin apologised this week after falsely announcing the death of one of their players in order to have a match postponed.
Ballybrack FC announced that Fernando Nuno La-Fuente died in a motorbike accident on Thursday 22nd November, but reports emerged that he had flown back to his native Spain on Saturday 24th November.
This was all incorrect, as La-Fuente had actually relocated to Galway around two months before the announcement of his death.
