Woman claimed to be a boy online to engage in sexual activity with women

A 21-year-old woman from England is alleged to have deceived a teenage girl into engaging in sexual activity with her by pretending to be a boy.

The victim claims that she did not consent to have sexual contact with a girl and believed that Georgia Bilham was a boy named George Parry.

According to the court proceedings at Chester Crown Court, Bilham began posing as “George” online when she was around 15 or 16 years old.

However, the alleged sexual activity occurred when she was 19.

Whenever Bilham and the victim met in person, Bilham disguised her long blonde hair by keeping her hood up, even when in bed. She wore male clothing and spoke with a deep voice and a Birmingham accent.

It was mentioned in court that Bilham would always remove the alleged victim’s glasses as soon as they met.

She further stated that the victim thought George had anxiety and claimed to be “paranoid” due to involvement with Albanian drug dealers.

During the trial, another young woman, Nikita Hughes, testified that she had also interacted with “George” online in 2021 when she was 16 years old.

Hughes stated that she met “George” once and that she found something “strange” about George but had no idea that he was actually a girl.

The court heard that Bilham created a fake Snapchat profile under the name ‘George Parry,’ using a cartoon image of a blonde-haired man as her profile picture, and began messaging the alleged victim online. They eventually progressed to meeting up for sexual activity in Bilham’s car and later at her home.

Bilham reportedly tried to dismiss the victim’s suspicions that “he” was actually a female and kept up the pretence by asking her to remove her glasses, which impaired her vision significantly.

The prosecution argued that Bilham knew the victim had poor eyesight and deliberately took her glasses from her during their encounters.
