A murder investigation has been launched after 39 bodies were found inside a lorry on an industrial estate in Essex on Wednesday 23rd October.
The 25-year-old driver from Northern Ireland was arrested on suspicion of murder.
The people found dead were all Chinese nationals, police confirmed.
The trailer arrived in the UK from Zeebrugge early on Wednesday morning. Belgian authorities released details about the trailer’s journey as UK police pressed ahead with a murder investigation.
